Introducing 'Lara'

Here's my darling model for me with the funny face with Lara....... It's aDebbie Bliss pattern I replaced the yarn with Cascade 220. IT's a neat shade of green with speckles of color..
Todays my little mans 4th birthday we did the cake and gifts yesterday now he wants another party?! I told him I'd make him something special......Just for him and today we can play with his new toys and games so you know where I'll be and what I'll be up too......
Now to wait for that big, bright, round, yellow ball in the sky to come out again so he can ride his new Spiderman Bike!!
So sick of the drak, gloomy, cool, wet days that makes you want o do nothing or sit and spin, knit but dont' get much done type of days, not to mention the body aches and pains to boot! errr.. Wonder what I can get done next. So working on finishing a few UFO before casting on Josephine! I think I may get lots of goodies in the mail this week..I ordered more yarn! LIke I really need it right? hmmmm YEP!!!!

So cute! I think Cascade 220 makes a nice sub for Lara. It's almost the same color as mine too!

Michelle,
Your daughter is adorable. I love that sweater. Debbie Bliss has the same sweater pattern in her size. She needs one too.

The sweater is looking great! Funny, I just finished placing an order for myself seconds ago and I am contemplating going over the elann.com to use up my GC. Yarn is a lovely thing!

Nice Lara! I need to make one ... I've been wanting to for a year now. It's a pretty quick knit, right? I love Alpaca Silk but find the price rather prohibitive as well. jeniferknits.blogdrive.com

Yes Jenifer it is a very quick knit! Thank you! Less then 2 weeks for me. I wanted the Alpaca Silk but I've put it off for about a year myself so I found a great compromise and used the cascade 220.

Great job on the Lara!!! I've been wanting to knit it but DB Alpaca Silk is still too much $$$ for me.
