Long Weekend!

I've done absolutely nothing all weekend, went to the store once for a couple things and some movies, been on the couch watching movies with DH & the kids relaxing.. I didn't pick up not one WIP. DH isn't home much and had the whole weekend off except for a couple alram calls because of the wind/rain setting them off or something, he just have to run down and reset the alarms
However I did manage to do this
just a basic stst sock in an Opal

Ok Now why I'm up early too 5-6am (everyday)?? Why? Getting to much rest of what? but I still drag throughout the day and need lots of caffine!

I have woken up at 6:30 every morning this week, no matter how late I go to sleep. It's like a secret power.

Not a useful secret power, mind you.

When I first lived on my own, I never knew how early was too early to call people on a weekend morning, because I always woke up early myself.

That sock looks great! I can't believe I didn't notice the inside out sock. Of course, I went through a day last week with my underwear inside out and didn't notice until I changed for bed... so I suppose it isn't that surprising, really!! ;)

Cute sock.

I have been up to 2AM all weekend so I feel sleep deprived even tho' I've been getting up later. Maybe a nap today ....

Sounds like you has a great weekend. I am up early everyday as well. If I get up as early as 5, then I need a nap, but anything later, I am fine.

Is that "flamingo?" Sometimes those simple socks are the coolest.

Nothing wrong with just laying around and taking it slow every now and then. Pretty Opal. What line is it?

I wished I were just laying around. I can hardly have time to knit. I say go Expresso baby! Two days ago, I ran out of my regular coffee and so I searched the pantry for some kind of coffee. What I found was Turkish coffee I bought last month just to make once in a while. I gave it a try as regular coffee and it's pretty darn good. Hope I can go back to my regular coffee now.LOL

Oh, I love the sock. And it sounds like you had a great, relaxing weekend!

Hey, are you going to be at the Boston Knit Out on the 24th? I'm going to be volunteering in some capacity; if you are going to be there, maybe we'll run into one another.

In the meantime, "espresso" is the word...
