KTS2 Package arrived

'Happy Tea Day!'

Last night when I arrived home, my Knitting Tea Swap package was sitting on the front steps... How exciting after a long stressful day of treatment at the hospital. Great timing Michelle! I was totally exhausted and didn't open it until my DD left on the bus for school this morning.
Made my cuppa tea and dug right in!!
Cute card from Vermont! Just love New England this time of year. It's so beautiful with all the wonderful colors of foliage!

One of Yarn Harlots books 'Knitting Rules' (which I haven't read) how'd you know? and see the folded up item beneath it..............

that is a Cool Vintage Embroidered Teacozy.. Now I need to find a nice big tea pot....;o) Total spoilage of what!?

The first cylinder tin to the left is Love & Tea a local tea company to my pal in VT.....Lucky her! Very neat art work on the label which looks to be made from recycled paper.. Then a container of Pirouline (which happen to be a favorite of mine) woo hoo! Box of Stash tea chocolate hazelnut
decaf tea, 2 boxes of Liptons new pyramid tea bags Vanilla Caramel Truffle & Red tea strawberry & passion fruit flavor.. I've tried these bags before but not made by Lipton and I emailed Lipton last week because I can't find a location within a 50 mile radius of me to purchase them!!! I have now been spoiled with 2 packages! so exciting! She also included some pure maple syrup, maple syrup candy(very sweet stuff) and Lake Champlain Chocolate (was breakfast, 4 pieces does the trick with tea for sure)

Check out this tea from the tin, it's an organic blend of org. avana, org. spearmint, org damiana, org rose petals, org. cinnamon, W/C jasmine flowers, org. orange peel, org. ginger root, org. clove, & org. licorice root. Great tea to take the chill out on these cool fall days and change of weather colds...brewing a cup while I write this post. ;o)

A skein of Opal Handpaints would in a nice tight center pull ball she thought the color reminds her of a bit of fall in the woods...I would have to agree the woods tend to look like this towards the end of foliage season

then last But not least I had to take a close up of this beautiful piece of slate with a steamy teapot carved in it for a coaster.. It's beautiful!

I can't believe all the goodies. I love EVERYTHING! You sure know how to make a fellow new englander feel special! A Huge Thank you {{hugs}} from me in the south all the way to you up north! Thank you for introducing me to your local tea company too!
