Well I've been so behind on emails and blogging.. Last week my son just dropped on the floor and out cold?? He scared the begeggs out of me!! He had a fever over just all of a sudden no warning, no symptoms, fine one minute and the next total larthargic and not responding.. I rushed him up to the hospital of course, not thinking of anything else the poor little guy hasn't been ill or feverish in 5 years since he was an infant..
After several tests , they found he has pneumonia (both lungs) Never in a million years would we have known and he's also asthmatic and hasn't had a flare up of it for a few weeks.. Must've been the quiet before the storm.. So the past 5 or 6 days has been a bit crazy I did manage to finish more socks...
Here's a picture of my latest design
and a little closer view but not the whole pattern just a sneak peak..
this pattern will be included in the up coming book..

I know it is scary when your child is so sick. Hope he is better soon. Your sock pattern looks great!
I hope your baby feels better soon!
I have an asthmatic son and always worry about pneumonia and other things......crossing my fingers.
Wow, that must have been scary. Hope your little one is feeling better soon.
How scary, I hope that he is getting better every day! Both myself and my littlest guy have asthma so this is something we worry about a lot.
Your sock looks great!
Your socks are WONDERFUL! I am slowly being sucked into the world of socks and stitch markers. I think I'll try stitch markers first.
By the way, I see that you host a stitch marker swap. I tried e-mailing to the address on the first page and it was returned. Can you let me know when you host another?
Thanks!
I am so glad to hear your son will be ok. That must have been so scary!
The sock is beautiful!!
Good grief, you must have been terrified. I hope he's better soon.
The sock looks great.
Whoa! I'm so sorry to hear about your little guy. We nearly lost my little brother when he was a toddler so I can imagine how scary this was for you. Thank God for antibiotics!
That is scary. Flat out on the floor. I wish him well and hope for a speedy recovery. I love this pattern!
Hope you're son recovers quickly. I'm asthmatic too so I know anything related is always scary.
Just love that sock ;)
I had pneumonia when I was 16 or so, and literally woke up one morning on death's door. It was like someone flipped a switch, and I had the antibiotic resistant kind- not fun! Hope he's feeling better, soon!!
The socks look great!
