and a UFO since last spring (very sad) I ran out of yarn Sirdar Pure Cotton in Cyclamen and haven't been able to find this particular shade anywhere.. After several pleas for help, leftovers anything. Isobel one of the greatest knitty friends ever found some over in a LYS in U.K. If not for her generosity and time I would've never have finished this project for my little girl!!! HUGE THANKS!!!! So it didn't go off to the frog pond as expected...I forgot where exactly I left off in the pattern with shaping, size, etc.
I knew I was knitting a size last year that I'd expect to fit her this year.
Going with Rowan patterns their famous sizng by child's age I estimated and on the low side a year younger too since she's very petite. Had gauge took forever to get it and many swatches but final got there. For some reason it seems people always seem to run short on yarn with these type of patterns?
Here's 'Mimi'
the shade isn't all that great in this photo
closer view of the moss stitches and cute bunny button
Katie loves it! Slightly big, rolled up sleeves but she's waited so sweet & patiently. More accurate color in the photo

Cute sweater! It looks cute as well on your adorable Katie. The larger size is better, she will be able to wear it longer.
That is soooo cute! I love the little bunny buttons!
Katie looks so sweet in her new sweater. What a pretty color too.
