part way down there was a knot
and another with fuzzys
and a weak post that was a tad unspun pilling. I just knitted it right in my sock..
I'm going to keep these and not gift them. I don't like knots or pilling in my socks so I'm hoping there hold up. I can't do the spit and rub techinique because it's superwash and I hate knots. Cast on 64sts size US 1 needles, STR new March club kit, Pattern: Cedar Creek

I just started my first pair of STR socks and have come across ~5 fuzzies and I'm only half way through the feet. Seems a bit excessive. No knots though. Not yet at least.
Wow, that pooling looks like it's an intentional part of the design! You could do like the software companies and say, "It's not a bug; it's a FEATURE!" ;->
Why is everyone in love with this yarn? I think that goes way beyond pooling. Plus, those kind of knots in a yarn of that cost is not ok. Sorry about this happening to you.
Hi..I was referred to this picture because I had asked on Socknitters specifically about pooling in STR...I will be really interested to see how your second sock behaves..I had a pair of Lorna's Laces Rainbow once where the first sock pooled almost as much as yours..and the second one striped..same skein...not a single pool on the second..all stripes...
Wow, that is a lot of pooling...man, I hope my yarns don't do that...LOL! I haven't come across but a few knots here or there in the yarn I use and I've done a *lot* so far. It does look kind of cool though even with the excess pooling....LOL

I have so wanted a pair that pools but so far no luck~~plainole stripes every time! Haven't had any STR yet~~hopefully soon!
